Guest Policy:


All reservations must be reconfirmed with no exception at least 72 hours
before arrival.

As a small hotel, we appreciate your notification in advance, at least 24
hours before, for any change of plans, re-schedule or cancellation of your
reservation.

If pre-paid packages are cancelled with at least 48 hours, only
administration fees will be charged to your credit card, the rest will be
refunded. No refund for cancellations the same day of the check in.

free airport transfer is available for guests arriving before 10:30 pm(after
that time, there is an extra charge of USD3.00 per hour). the driver is at
the exit door of the airport holding a sign of dos lunas, according to
arrival times of passengers that previously booked with us. Guests must
call us in case of delay flight or lost luggage to program a later pick up
service. Keep in mind that taxis from airport to the hotel charge USD8-10
per ride. We have free transportation to or from la aurora international
airport.

Before your arrival, you will receive specific instructions of your
reception at the airport, in order to avoid misunderstanding or situations
where other people try to cheat you and take you to a different place.

Transfer from the hotel to the airport must be booked the night before. the
service is available from 4:30 a.m.

Passengers departing, must leave for the airport at least two hours before
departure.

All passengers with no exception must pay at the airport, Q.20.00 for
airport security tax. (even in domestic flights)

Guests must registrer at the hotel with a valid ID

Volunteers from from Peace Corps, Amnisty International, Habitat for the
humanity, Green Peace, Fundacion Quetzal,
etc. must hold their ID from the organization in order to get discount with
the hotel, packages and airline tickets. (discount not applicable in high
season)

Volunteers to Corpus Christi catholic Orphanage, have discount, previous
notification of the Orphanage. (Patzun)

Students with ISIC card, have discount in hotel and airline tickets.
(discount not applicable in high season)

check in is from 3:00 p.m. check out 11:00 am.

Reception is open from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.

The hotel has the right to reject admission of people with minors that
cannot proove that they are the parents.

the hotel is designed for independent, budget travellers, students,
backpackers, mainly in transit, because early departure or late arrival in
Guatemala city airport. the hotel does not have the facilities for business
men or travellers with specific needs and facilities provided by 5 star
hotels. if this is your way of travel, we have a link in the room page where
you can book with us a Best Western 4 star hotel in the heart of Zona 10
with at least 25% discount.

The hotel provide linen and towels.

Most of the rooms are private (single, double or triple) but dorms are
max. for 3 people each room, dorms can be mixed though.

Pets are not allowed.

Free storage is available only for guests. (7 days free per night stayed)

Complimentary breakfast is available from 8-10 a.m.

smoking or eating inside the rooms is not allowed. (we have specific areas)

curfew is at 11:00 p.m. for security reasons

people under the effect of drugs or alcohol with aggressive behave will be
invited to leave the hotel.

In order to keep the harmony and the good atmosphere, guests should avoid
comments that may offend people of certain countries, religion or ethnic
groups.

guests must pay the room, in cash after check in, payments accepted are
dollars, euros or quetzales, please keep in mind that an extra charge apply
for payments with credit cards. Packages can be paid with credit card
before arrival.

We appreciate that guests contribute with saving energy, water and resources
available like paper, cups, food, etc. and reduce noise during bedtime. the
hotel is commited with the enviroment. we recicle, re-use and restore.

All guests will be assisted in case of illness,(there is a hospital in the
area,) medicine, emergency calls, cancellation of stolen credit cards, money
transfer, police reports, secure transportation facilities, etc.
